DRAWING-BASED CUSTOM MANUFACTURING

Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication Parts

We customize sheet metal parts based on drawings, samples, or functional requirements. Equipment mounting plates, connection plates, bent brackets, covers, housings, and welded assemblies can be customized by material, thickness, cut profile, hole position, bending angle, welding, surface finish, and packaging.

ENGINEERING REVIEW

What We Review Before Fabricating a Sheet Metal Part

Share the information you know. Open items can be identified during the initial manufacturability review.

Sheet-metal review relates material thickness and bend geometry to the flat pattern, hole locations, hardware and assembly interfaces. Holes or slots near bend lines, visible surfaces and areas affected by welding or finishing are reviewed together so the process sequence remains consistent with the drawing. Where the part joins another component, identify the locating edges, fastening direction, clearance zones and critical fit dimensions. These details guide cutting, bending, hardware installation, welding, finishing and final dimensional inspection.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fabricate sheet metal parts from a drawing?

Yes. The review can start from a 2D drawing, 3D model, sample photo or application requirement.

Why does the hole-to-bend relationship matter?

Holes close to bend lines may distort. Hole position, bend radius, material thickness and tooling access should be reviewed together.

What should be defined for cosmetic surfaces?

Identify visible zones, grain or texture direction, finish, protected areas and the acceptance reference where relevant.
